Although these upcoming laptops bear a resemblance to their predecessors in design, they come with enhanced processors, improved battery life, and other minor specification upgrades. While we haven't had the chance to fully evaluate these laptops yet, if you wish to secure your order before the official release, you can already do so through the Microsoft Store. Here's what you should be aware of: Where to Preorder the Surface Laptop Studio 2 The new Surface Laptop Studio 2 maintains the familiar appearance of the previous model, featuring a 14.4-inch screen that can be folded forward or laid flat like a tablet. However, it boasts several improvements under the hood. Microsoft claims it's twice as fast as its predecessor, thanks to the inclusion of new Intel 13th Gen i7 processors and Nvidia's RTX 4050 and 4060 GPUs. Moreover, it is the first Windows computer to incorporate the Intel neural processing unit, promising faster and more potent AI capabilities. In addition to the new chips and GPUs, Microsoft's premium convertible offers two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, a microSD card reader, and the Surface Slim Pen 2. The laptop also boasts a customizable haptic touchpad, described by Microsoft as "the most inclusive touchpad on any laptop." Starting from September 21st, you can preorder the base configuration of the Surface Laptop Studio 2, equipped with 512GB of storage, 16GB of RAM, and an Intel 13th Gen processor for $1,999 through the Microsoft Store. Higher-end configurations are available with up to 2TB of storage, 64GB of RAM, and an Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, but these models will cost over $3,000. The laptop is set to become available on October 3rd. Where to Preorder the Surface Laptop Go 3 Microsoft introduced not only the Laptop Studio 2 but also the new Surface Laptop Go 3 at its Surface event. The Surface Laptop Go 3 features the same 12.4-inch 3:2 aspect ratio PixelSense touchscreen as its predecessor, the Surface Laptop Go 2. This new laptop weighs less than 2.5 pounds, making it the lightest Surface device, and it is purportedly 88 percent faster than its predecessor while offering all-day battery life. The Surface Laptop Go 3, available in four colors (gray, blue, pink, and green), can be preordered starting today from the Microsoft Store for $799. This base configuration includes 256GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, and an Intel Core i5 processor. Alternatively, you can customize it with up to 16GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and an Intel Core i5 processor for an additional $200. The Surface Laptop Studio 2 and Surface Laptop Go 3 bring notable enhancements and configurations to Microsoft's laptop lineup, catering to a range of users' needs and preferences.
