Microsoft launches Loop, a Notion competitor

Microsoft has officially launched Loop, its productivity and collaboration app akin to Notion. Loop provides flexible, collaborative workspaces and pages for seamless cooperation. Resembling Notion's interface, Loop offers familiar features, including the use of the forward slash key for quick access to tools and formatting options.

As a Microsoft product, Loop boasts integrations with other Microsoft software. Users can share parts of Loop pages across apps like Teams chat and Outlook, enhancing collaborative work. The app also incorporates Microsoft's AI-powered Copilot assistant, aiding in tasks such as text drafting and page summarization.

Loop is now available for commercial customers on both web and mobile platforms, with the mobile app accessible to consumers. While released in public preview in March, the consumer version of Loop on the web remains in public preview as of November 15th, according to Microsoft's Matt Anderson.
